WedSmith 2011

Jul 6th, 20115 Comments

Honestly, we’re not sure how the last year went by as fast as it did, but nevertheless, we’re very pleased to announce that WedSmith 2011 is set for October 4th at the breathtaking St. Regis Deer Valley. We cannot wait to see you all there … queuing-up for the funicular, checking-in in the lounge, lunching on the mountain terrace.

Last year, many of you were kind enough to give us feedback, reviews, and lunch-dates (over a dozen meet-up/chats total) where you helped us improve the formula and make WedSmith 2011 even better. Listening to that commentary, we’ve pulled in more versatile and dynamic presenters, focused the curriculum, and brought in more guided assistance. Planning the speaker roster was where Justin and I had the most fun. You’ll connect with them immediately. Having met Simon T. Baily last year, I was changed. Be prepared to be a different person at the end of his presentation than when it started.

You’ll notice that Utah Bride & Groom Magazine is back with us as our key sponsor. We’re very privileged to again be working with this local force in weddings and publishing. Val, their newly crowned editor, will divvy out portions of her transition from vendor to media. And, just like last year, they have extended the rebate offer for registered companies to use their registration fee toward advertising within their magazines and websites. Combine that with the early bird discount and you’re set. Also, with much excitement, we’re welcoming back Rielh Events as the production sponsor. Want to breath easy? Have them orchestrate you next big event. Trust me!

One of the hidden benefits of WedSmith is the powerful networking. Networking is such a stale word for what really happened. We’d see two established business, who had never worked together, connect and plan projects and goals. Vendors become friends. People whom we had never met are now people we consider friends and cannot imagine working without. (Lauren! Where were you all my life? Matt, Garrett, Alfreda, come on! Heather, let’s shoot more! And the list goes on.)

We want you to walk away from WedSmith 2011 and feel like you got every penny’s worth. We want you teaming with ideas and eager to attack your business with full resolve and passion. We are committed to making this year’s event above and beyond our last year.

Anything you need, call. Or email. Or text. Or tweet. Or fax, if you’re still into that.

We’re here for you. Cheers to WedSmith 2011!
