About

Following a sold-out event last year, we are pleased to bring you an improved WedSmith experience for 2011. Including encore appearances from key presenters, introducing attendees to the luxurious St. Regis Deer Valley, and welcoming returning sponsors Utah Bride & Groom Magazine and Riehl Events.

WedSmith seeks out and brings in influential presenters who tailor their information to the specifics of this market.

WedSmith is a one-day educational seminar for wedding professionals. Focused on the way of doing business and the way weddings take place in the mountain west and Utah, WedSmith seeks out and brings in influential presenters who tailor their information to the specifics of this market. Top of the line educators who can take you, in one day, to a whole new level of doing business.

And so, from this desire to help others improve their businesses, the idea for WedSmith was born.

WedSmith is run by Hilary Anderson and Justin Goodson, the owners of Alta Moda Bridal and Lily & Iris.
We have always had a strong urge to continually improve and better our business and industry. This drive has led us to attend dozens of conferences and seminars over the years. From one-hour webinars on social media and sales, to full weekend retreats on luxury weddings. Often, we are asked by colleagues about the seminars we have attended and what great tips, info, and ideas we can pass along. We have come to realize that boiling-down hours of seminars to a few points to share often wont provide much help to others. The key nuggets of knowledge that one business or individual takes away is often very different for another. As much as we wanted to help, passing along a crib note was often just giving them answers to the wrong test. And so, from this desire to help others improve their businesses, the idea for WedSmith was born.

We are proud to bring this caliber of learning to this market and look forward to seeing you at WedSmith.

Thanks for being a part of it.
